Consultation
We will explain everything you need to know about what is involved, before deciding whether to go ahead. I will discuss all your requirements with you and answer all your questions. We will examine your hair colour, texture, length and then colour match your hair for the perfect blend and colour match. We will discuss the different methods and prices with you. A small deposit is required once the fitting has been booked to help cover the cost of the hair and to secure your appointment. This will be deducted from the total cost on the day of the fitting. The deposit will depend on what method of hair extensions you choose and how much hair you actually require for your extensions. Deposit is non-refundable if you cancel.
Preparation
Do not apply conditioner on the root area. Also ensure that your hair is dry. If your hair has to be coloured or chemically treated in any way then make sure it is at least 1 – 2 days before the application of your hair extensions.
Removal
All hair extensions need to be adjusted after 3 months wear. This is because of your natural hair shedding. The hair you naturally lose on a daily basis will be caught in the bond and this will cause matting and tangling to occur if leaving your hair extensions in for longer. Leaving your hair extensions in for too long can cause unnecessary weight on your hair which can damage your natural hair and become increasingly difficult to remove. The day before your removal appointment please would you shampoo your hair and liberally apply conditioner to the bonds, this will cause the bonds to weaken, break down and will help with the removal process.
